Non-Alcoholic Cocktail (Mocktail) Recipes

These fun drinks will make you excited to imbibe sans the alcohol. I actually hate making NA cocktails that mimic cocktails, aka “NA old fashioned” because it is nearly impossible to mimic the taste of actual bourbon without the booze. Making a tasty drink without alcohol? Easy!

Cool Ginger Breeze

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 inch grated ginger

  • 1 small Persian cucumber, sliced

  • Juice of half a lime

  • 6 mint leaves

  • 1/2 cup sparkling water

  • 1 cup ginger ale

INSTRUCTIONS

Muddle ginger, cucumber, and lime in a bowl.

Strain the mixture into your glass using a small strainer. Press on the mixture with your fingers or the back of a spoon to ensure all the juice is extracted from the ginger, cucumber and lime.

Clap the mint leaves together in your hands 3-4 times to release the oils and scent, then add them to your glass.

Add ice and top with half ginger beer, half sparkling water. Stir gently.

Garnish with your choice of lime wheels, ginger, cucumber or mint and serve.

Rosemary Lemonade Mocktail

In a 12 oz. Collins Glass Combine:

  • Ice

  • 1 oz Rosemary Simple Syrup

  • 1 oz lemon juice

  • 8 oz Sparkling Water

  • Garnish with a Rosemary Sprig & Lemon Wheel

In a 12 oz highball glass combine:

  • Ice

  • 4 oz Hibiscus Syrup

  • 1/2 ounce lime

  • 4 oz Club Soda

WHISKEY ON THE WAGON

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 oz. cooled brewed Lapsang Souchang black tea

  • ¾ oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • ¼ oz. vanilla simple syrup

  • Dehydrated lemon peel to garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Steep 1 bag of Lapsang Souchang tea in 3-ounces of boiling water for 20-minutes or until cool.

Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, and fill the rest of the shaker with ice and shake for 20 seconds or so.

Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a dehydrated lemon slice.
